What health assessments do you offer?
Heart health assessments
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) report that over 7.6 million Britons currently live with heart disease. By spotting the early warning signs of a serious illness or condition and early intervention, people can make changes to their lifestyle and improve their health outcomes.
The assessment involves a full cardiovascular review, including:
Resting heart rate and blood pressure
FEV1 lung age
Blood test & lipids panel (cholesterol)
BMI and body composition
Two lead ECG
HbA1c blood glucose
The body composition assessment uses a Boditrax machine which applies BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis), and sends a low electrical current through the body. This provides insights such as metabolic age, percentage body fat and visceral fat.
Full results are then interpreted by our team of healthcare specialists, and a detailed report outlining any lifestyle recommendations and guidance will be provided within 48 hours of the assessment, following blood analysis at Cignpost’s laboratory.
Skin screening
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the UK. At least 100,000 new cases are diagnosed each year, and the disease kills over 2,500 people each year. People who have a lot of exposure to the sun are at increased risk of non-melanoma skin cancer.
Cignpost has partnered with two of the UK’s leading dermatologists who provide full-body examinations and consulations. Dermatologists can identify and treat more than 3,000 conditions.
